Tropical Touch Flowers and Gifts - the name of this shop isn't an accident.  After all, it is Florida where we live and work. The flower shop beams with unique bouquets and contemporary arrangements.

The owner and designer, Hanna Smektala comes from Poland, where many of her ideas and unique designs originate.  In Poland and generally in Europe, flowers are a big part of life. They bring smiles and contentment into people hearts and such feeling seems to be universal whenever one receives them as a gift.

Tropical Touch Flowers and Gifts credits the competition for floral arrangements as a stimulus to arrange flower compositions differently from our peers.  When arranging flowers, we create special looks by adding decorations, many of them imported from Poland, and that makes them more unique.

The favorite flower in the shop is the Bird of Paradise and it has become a logo for the shop name recognition. Here is little history about the flower.  It was shipped to Europe in 1773 from South Africa as a gift to King George III.  It was named after the King's wife Queen Charlotte Strelitz.  Bird of Paradise is known also as a Strelitzia Reginae.   It became particularly popular in our climate in Florida.
